About this event
We are excited to welcome you to the second in our Wind Lidar Masterclass series. After a successful Masterclass in London in 2023, we are heading to Madrid and expanding our discussion topics.
This Masterclass will bring together experts from around the world to discuss wind measurements, both on and offshore. Agenda topics will include:

This Masterclass is free to attend but spaces will be limited.
This is an in-person event only and will follow Chatham House rules and as such will not be recorded.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to attend virtually. This Masterclass is an in-person only event which will operate under Chatham House Rules and as such we will not be recording the sessions on this occasion.
The Masterclass will be held LARRA, the former editorial and printing press of the Semanario del Mundo Nuevo newspaper. is located at Calle Larra 14, Madrid. The venue is well signed and there will be ZX banners outside the venue.
Thankfully, Madrid is not short of accommodation options! Some lovely hotels near the venue include; Avani Alonso Martínez Madrid Hotel, Hotel Eurostars Central, URSO Hotel & Spa and Hotel Gran Versalles.
LARRA is located in central Madrid with easy access to transport links, 20 mins drive from the airport and only a 3 min walk from Bilboa Metro Station.
When you arrive at LARRA you will see the ZX Event Registration Desk located at the main entrance hall. Head to the desk to sign-in and pick up your delegate badge.
The event will begin at 10:00hrs. Please arrive at 9:30hrs for registration/refreshments. The event closes at17:30hrs followed by a drinks reception and entertainment.
Yes – we have you covered! There will be water available throughout the day. We will also have coffee breaks and provide lunch. Don’t forget to join us at the drink’s reception after the Masterclass for some light refreshments and canapés. Please ensure you advise us of any dietary requirements.
Following the final session, delegates will enjoy a networking drinks reception until 19:00hrs.

Our Masterclass content is subject to CPD approval. All delegates who attend the Masterclass will automatically receive a CPD certificate reflective of the sessions they attend. You can learn more about CPD by following the link in the event description above.
Every delegate will have their CPD certificate emailed to them by Friday 7th June 2024. If you have any issues receiving your certificate, please email events@zxlidars.com.
